I have the Danchuk #295 Fender Anti-Squeak Gasket Kit. I am not sure about where a couple pieces go. I the photo, the bottom left 4 rubber gaskets look like the fit along the bottom of the inner fender, one at the front one at the rear? The other four along the bottom are foam and I can not figure out where they go, maybe the splash pan? Also I plan to use weatherstrip adhesive and not staples.
Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks,
Charlie

SO, what's wrong with staples?? Really they will hold the anti-squeak in place better than glue. I used large paper clips and bent 'em up with a pair of long nose pliers... AS to where the a-squeeks go>>> The 4 on the lower left go to the rear of the A-arm rise. One horizontal and one vertical each side. The inner fender panel makes an L there. Cut off excess on the virtical. The four on the right go at the rear and end of the splash shields. Long on long side, short one at the end.
That is just one of BAD the things about Danchuk, they don't put instructions in anything. If you have the factory assy. manual it sure takes a lot of the guess work out of their stuff.

In the back seat of my 60 chevy..I used my shields but neither one cared, we were gettin' our share. |
