I was told 69 was a one year only deal for a 2 barrel carb and intake on a 396BBC. If this is true, what would be a fare market value for this set up? TIA.

It's true. The RPO L66 regular fuel 9.0 c.r. 2-bbl. carb 396/265 was a one year only deal. The L66 was the only 396 engine available in the '69 big Chevy. I have no idea about the market value.

Unusual, somewhat, yes. Desirable no. Most who have one of those set-ups, take them off and put a stock 4 bbl. set-up on instead. To be perfectly honest, it's a boat anchor. Scrap it. You could hold onto it for 15 years and you might get 15-25 bucks for it. Impalas are all I do for the most part and have been buying and selling parts for them for 30+ years now. Never had anyone ask me for one in all these years.

I see now that this part is nothing to get excited about. Jim B and Donny thanks for taking the time to reply also.
