Just wondering how trim rings look on Chevy stock wheels? Any pics out there?
Thanks.

Another example. These stay on and don't move around.

Were they optional originally? My car came with them but they are pretty beat up. Someday we'll get 'em fixed up!
| I drove a '50 from the day I got my license thru college! Sadly, we sold it when I got married. I recently got the chance to buy the same car back from the man I sold it to; but the deal fell through and now I own a nicer one: 4 Dr Styleline Deluxe! |

I think I read where the trim rings for the original rims (I have a 1952) are different than for later years or for just a standard 15in rim. Is this correct and if so who has the correct ones?
Thanks
Mike

Agreed- great question..I see a set on Ebay for $50 and they look like 70's chrome style.
Would those suffice?
Thanks,

I bought a repo set from NCA about 5 years ago, they are still in the box. Has anyone else bought these? Are your tires from Diamond Back. The whole wheel looks good.

I love it!
but - I wound up scratching the hell out of my painted wheels with the trim rings. Is there any way around this?

Anyone? Granted, the ones I had were crap from JCWhitney. Do better ones not scratch the paint?
