I have 2005 Tahoe.
My AC system has gone. When I took it to the professional, he said he will have to replace the Condenser. I have found a good condenser from the Spectra Premium brand. Are there any similar other brands that i should be looking for or is this good enough?

I'm not usually much on aftermarket parts, but we use Spectra at work on customers cars and have had no complaints. What exactly is wrong? Did the condensor get a hole in it? Because that is basically the only thing that can go wrong with it.

There is Murray (O'Reilly's) and Everco (Autozone), and there are a few others.

If it was a moving part, you would have to worry about quality - but since it isn't a moving part, pretty much anything that doesn't leak and will cool the R134a will work properly. So pretty much any brand will be reliable when it comes to condensors.

Be thankful it's not the evaporator! Got to tear the dash out for that one.

Four Seasons is another popular quality brand of air conditioning parts.
