Im getting ready to convert my 88 over to 134-a. How much PAG oil do I need to put back in the compressor? Thanks Terry

typical rule of thumb. I have always gone by.
add .50 oz pag oil more than what has been removed.
If nothing has been removed then I would only add .50 oz.
Each component has a amount of pag oil present. It doesnt take much
GM fan FOREVER

Terry, it's worth pointing out that the "total" figure would presume you have fully flushed the system. Oil is hanging out throughout the system; what you removed from the compressor is only a portion of the total oil.

Since you're converting you'll want to have completely flushed it out anyhow, replace the accumulator, and orifice tube as well.
