I have acquired a 79 elcamino. It was originally a V6, 3 speed stick. What are the likely rear end ratios? Would this be a lower ratio?

The standard ratio with that engine/trans combo was a 2.73. This is a high gear ratio for fuel economy. The lower the number the higher the ratio. The lowest ratio available was only a 3.08. Btw - There were also 2 V6's available but the 3.8L was only in CA.
