Hi guys. I'm usually in the 49-54 Chevy forums, but I find myself in need of advice from the Camaro pros. A buddy of mine needs to sell his 67 Camaro. He asked me if I knew what it would be worth, but I couldn't really answer him with any certainty. So, I figured I'd just ask the guys who know Camaros.
The question is, what is a 1967 Camaro (base model, originally equipped with a six) worth? Here are the details:
1. Comes with a 350 that needs a rebuild and is out of the car.
2. No transmission.
3. Good interior with lots of extra parts.
4. Brakes - unknown condition.
5. All glass is good.
6. Some rust on the passenger side rear wheel well.
7. Has some SS badging (he intended to make it an SS clone).
I have also posted 10 shots of the car at:

Any help you can provide is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Mike

This simple answer is its worth whatever someone it willing to pay him for it. You cannot realy put a value a car like this.
His best bet is to put it on ebay and take what he gets. Thats were the people with money to spend and no common sense are looking for projects like this.

Thanks Mike. I initially poked around and, based on what I saw, told him he could likely expect between $3000 and $4000 for the car. I think I'm in the ball park, but wanted to hear from the guys who really know Camaros.
I think you are correct - list it on eBay or Craigslist and see what kind of offers he gets.
Thanks,
Mike

Yes, a rolling chasis and a 6-cylinder car that needs full restoration. There are a few 67s here in CT road ready for 12K, the market has really come down over the years for all cars.
If the Camaro has options, that helps a lot. Rally Sport, Super Sport, Disk Brakes, 12-bolt, AC then the price goes up up up.
3-4K sounds about right.

Just based on pics, I think you are right on the money at 3 to 4K. If closer inspection reveals lots of rust it could go down to 2500.
