I received code P0756, which points to the A & B Solenoids in the transmission. I have tested these and replaced them, however I still have the problem where it seems like it is LIMP mode (Stays in 2nd). It shifts from 1st to 2nd then does not shift again. The only thing that was changed were the two shift solenoids.
Truck is a 1999 Chevy Suburban.
This is the work I've done already.

Any help???? Is there something simple I am missing like a fuse or????

I have read that a bad ignition switch can cause that, try googleing P0756
And you get more answers in the truck section.

Had an 09' Impala that did the same. Dealership found the throttle body had an inconsistant signal when gas pedal was used. Just a thought.

if it shifts 1-2 then neutrals out the 3-4 clutches are burned out.
very common on these. when computer sees no 3rd it blames solenoid.
