Hi, yes its virtualy dead stock. Still has original engine and manual gearbox with no mods apart from 12v conversion with alternater and electric fuel pump. Plan to keep her that way and just add period accessories. She has been restored a few years ago with engine and brake rebuild, respray and new trim. Plan to take her to 50's music events and occasional car meets.

Dead easy! That's two 53's within 20 miles of each other here in England.

Yes, like the other Rob says, its easy. I have only driven mine once as it still needs to be registered over here. Before that can be done it has to have our mandatory road worthyness test and you can legaly drive to this test without a registration number. It failed this test today due to an off side rear brake being stuck and the headlights being wired so that one is on high while the other was on low. The steering has too much play, but this is a simple case of adjusting the drag link. I have to get used to driving with a column shifter again after twenty five years using a floor shift, but other than that, no problems. I work for a major car manufacturer in England, so am used to driving large left hookers on the "wrong" side of the road.

I'm not getting involved, he's obviously had a lot more experience in these sort of things than me.
