Hey Impala Bob's I could use a little help here. On your records my order number would show #301847. On 4/29/12 I ordered $389.88 worth of a new 57 chevy right front fender. With $158.30 worth of freight my card was charged $548.18
The fender arrived on May 7th damaged by freight company. I immediately called you and was told to send pics and a copy of the freight ticket where the driver marked as damaged which I did. Have attached one of the 4 pics I sent. After no response I called again on May 10th and James Sr answered and acted surprised that you were suppose to file the claim and not me. I confirmed with UPS freight that the seller should file the claim. I also informed Jim that I was trying to get resolved quickly so I could get a fender painted and back on car for the Colorado Goodguys show June 7th.
I emailed again on May 10th, again on may 11th asking for a resolution with no response. On May 14th I emailed and said I no longer needed the fender ( i just decided to start repairing the old one because I was running out of time) and would like either a full refund or store credit. I have lots of chevys so the store credit would be fine. I then followed again with a call and was told you were having a meeting that afternoon to decide what to do.
On May 23rd I emailed again and asked for response to the issue. I recieved an email from James Weldon Sr. saying he would email later that day with a response. It is now june 1, no email, no response and figured I would try the guilt trip on this forum before I am forced to take up issue with credit card company.
I understand the stupid freight company damaging the fender beyond repair is not wholly your problem but filing the claim is your responisbility and not responding and ignoring the issue is bad customer support.

I have not yet, thought I might give it a monday work day and also try another call. Was really hoping a post on this forum would result in at least some contact.

Hi Cole,

I personally looked into this and find that a damage claim was indeed filed with the carrier back in May, and that a refund in full was posted to your account as a store credit, as per your request.

Sorry if there was some miscommunication from my staff, but rest assured that everything was handled.

Thanks for placing your trust with us. Please let us know if we can be of further assistance.

Thank you,

Bob

Hi Cole,

It seems that you completed the checkout process as a "guest", so your order information was not saved to a registered user account for later access. Our online system will accept orders whether you choose to register or not. It is purely optional, but does provide additional functionality.

You can create a new user account >>HERE<< , or just check the box that says "Create Account?" during the checkout process when placing an order on our website. Any new orders will then be accessible in this new online account.

I hope this helps.

Please let us know we can further assist.

Thanks,

Bob

Thanks again Bob, I do remember signing in as guest because I was having truck freight delivered to my office instead of my home. I have now registered an account. I dont see the credit but trust it will be there when I am ready to order. Thanks again for taking the time to make right even though it was the freight companies fault. Looking forward to future business with you.
Cole
