I need to change out my steering column on my 69 and I have one from a 77. So basically going from non power steering to power steering. Does anyone have any suggestions or advice? I appreciate any input. Thanks.

The 77 will require some mods as it is larger. Is there a need for changing out the column as the 69 column can be be mated to the 77 gear box easily?

Jim,
Thank you for your input. I was wondering about that. So it is possible to leave the original column and mate it with the power steering box from the 77. Do you know if any mods are needed to the frame or goes it just bolt right on?

The steering box will bolt in and work correctly. The lines will fit, also.
