we recently put in a different transmission, a brand new clutch, pressure plate, throw out bearing, and slave cylinder and my clutch lets out all the way at the top plus the pedal is really soft. it used to let out at the bottom and was stiff but the transmission was messed up so we replaced everything. any suggestions? we have bled cylinder and i have even crawled under it to take it off to make sure it was lined up correctly. i need any suggestions or hints that you can throw my way! PLEASE HELP!!

Hello and welcome to the message board.
There is a truck section farther down on the board list. You posted this question in the car section and it may get no helpful replies here. A moderator may find this post and move it to the truck section.
A good clutch does not take full pedal travel to release the clutch. What you are experiencing does not sound all that bad to me as long as there is not slipping at all when your foot is off the pedal.
For those of you that are wondering why you are not getting replies to your thread:
Did you give the model, year, engine, fuel system type, and transmission information?
If the it has been altered from stock let us know about that too. |
