Help please !! Have a 94 Suburban with tilt wheel. the ignition switch on the column went bad. Replaced it but the actuator rod is also broke. Ordered new one and I have no clue how it goes in. I also have a new rack and gear ?? that need to be put in. I was told this goes with the actuator rod. I need some diagrams or step by step directions. First time attempting something like this. Thank you !! need this done this weekend before the wife goes back to work.

Dunno if this is detailed enough to help, but it's straight from the factory service manual. If your browser scrunches it up, expand it; the scan is 1128x1532 so it should be fairly clear.
