got an 80 El a couple 2-3 weeks ago - its in the shop getting trans rebuilt so I can't look at it.

I need to totally redo the windshield wiper set up

What I need to know is this - do I need:
  • Power Windshield Wiper Kit W/ Bottom Mount Wiper Arms
  • Power Windshield Wiper Kit W/ Top Mount Wiper Arms


I have no idea which is right and/or best for this. This thing still has 3 years of safety inspections until I can stop messing with it.

I don't want to drop about $400.00 on the wrong one.

Also - was it the Royal (or Royale) that had the quarter vinyl and where can I get replacement trim that runs across the top of roof that finishes the vinyl edge?

FYI: Still glad the 74 vette was traded off for this thing

Well, wiper arms are bottom mounted.
