Hi all,
My father and I just bought a 1933 Chevy pickup truck. The VIN plate was taken off for restoration (all the wood was replaced) and now I'd like to remount it. Does anyone have a photo of where the plate is supposed to mount?
Also, I'm curious to know if the VIN and engine numbers are correct for the year. Is there a source for decoding them?
Thanks for any info.
Nick

Great resources, thanks so much. I ran that VIN decoder and the truck does come up as a 1933, so that's nice peace of mind. With the wood-mounted VIN plate, you can never be sure what you're getting.
Thanks again.
