A couple years or so ago I believe it was on this site that someone posted pictures of their Nomad body after they got it back from having the paint removed and it was the most perfect body that I remember ever seeing and I was wondering who that might have been and the status of the car now. The picture was in front of their house under a portable tarp roof. It looked like the body was practically ready for primer and paint. If someone knows who this might be and could post a link to pictures it would help. Thanks

I was at the Grand Rod Run in Pigeon Forge last weekend and saw one of the nicest Nomads that I have ever seen and remembered the one I am asking about and could not help but wonder how it turned out.

By chance, do you remember if you posted in the thread with regards to the photo/thread you are interested in? May be as simple as looking at your own thread history to find the thread you are looking for...

No I don't think I posted anything back then about the car but I remember thinking of all the hours I had spent on my 57 wagon putting floor pans in and other repairs to the main body and thinking how great it is when someone finds a car in such great shape to restore. Surely someone will remember a nearly rust free Nomad that had pictures posted. The one I saw in Pigeon Forge TN at the Grand Rod Run was supposed to be pretty much rust free but I did not get a chance to talk to the owner but it was a great looking car.

Do you remember what year Nomad it was? I seem to recall the pictures you're talking about but don't recall the owners name or screen name.

You know its been awhile and I am not positive of 55,56 or 57 but it seems like there were excellent detail pictures and I thought it was still bare metal but maybe it was not in front of their house (maybe it was in front of their garage) but it was on a paved/concrete surface and under a tarp roof. I said it looked near perfect but mayby the owner/poster did not think of it that way. I tried to look back at old post but some of the pictures are not there anymore.
