Any suggestions on what color to paint my 73 Chevelle? Whatever color i paint it, it's gonna have a black vinyl top to go with it.
Thanks

Assuming you have black interior...my 1st choice would be a dark metallic burgundy wine or 2nd choice of black.

I'm not usually much for silvers, but the right color silver with black interior and top looks great on these cars.

I was always partial to a medium to dark blue. Or even a nice gunmetal gray.

Loblol. Pagmeister, I remember those studies. Instrumental in helping me choose a color for the TT.

I once saw a white 73 w/black vinyl top and it POPPED.
The contrast was great and you don't see a lot of them out there.
Add to that: white paint hides a multitude of sins, is the most durable of all the paints, easiest to touch up and you can add any details you want later (custom graphics, pin stripes, etc) and that's my vote.

Let us know what you decide...
