Trying to change to Gear to Gear timing in my 1990 5.7l. Lost the instructions,now not sure about alignment of the 3 timing marks.Any ideas?

which 3 marks? does your crank pulley have 3 notches? if so it can go on -4, 0, and +4.

there should be a triangle, square, circle. the triangle is 4* advance, the square is 4* retard, the circle is the stamdard timing position for most applications. I still had my instruction sheet and that is straight from it. looked at it as I typed this.
