hello,

took my car apart nine years ago. finally putting it back together. had the seats recovered.

I forget how the back bench goes together and do not want to force anything and possibly tear the seats.

Does the back go on then the seat flip in to hold the bottom of the back?

Any help appreciated.

good morning.i just finished doing this on my 65 impala conv.seat back hooks on top on three hooks, and then it pushes down and there are two bend over tabs spot welded to floor.sometimes these break off and are missing.be very careful of the plastic conv top lines being pinched by the seat springs.they are a tight fit in this area.i had to bend some of the seat frame wire to clear my hoses properly.
