02 chevy express 2500. Strange electrical problem. Battery alternator belt all pullys are new. engine was pulled out about a year ago and put back in.
Daytime head lighte go out randomly, the odometer goes out randomly also. turn singnal blinks fast, all bulbs are good. When turn signal is on the volt meter jumps with turn signal.when parking lights are on break lights go out instead of getting brighter, third brake light works fine.
Any ideas?

Thanx for the suggestion. Do you know how many grounds and where they are? I wasn't the person to remove engine so I have no idea.

Yep,
You've got a "grounding" issue.

Not a heck of a lot of van owners in the forum, unfortunately; this may be a situation where a factory service manual would serve you best. They can be kind of pricey if you have to buy them new (check helminc.com) but sometimes you can find them used on eBay for a good deal.
In the wiring section there will be a section with details of pretty much every ground on the entire vehicle.
Otherwise, you could probably get it with enough trial and error of chasing them all down, I personally would probably go nuts with the extremely limited visibility in the engine compartment of a van.

If you are not comfortable with the fix on your own, I would recommend that you take the vehicle to your local dealer. They have certified mechanics that can assist you. Please keep me posted and feel free to contact me if you need any further assistance. Thank you.
