What's the difference between a '55 210 2-door sedan (style #2102, model #1011) and a '55 210 Club Coupe (style #2124, model #1011A)? They are both described as 2-door, 6-passenger vehicles, and the dimensions are exactly the same. I can't see any difference in the photographs of the two models. What am I missing?

A sedan has a post all the way to the roof at the B pillar, a sport coupe does not have a post from the top of the quarter panel to the roof.
Sorry, I miss read that as Sport Coupe.
Aren't the quarter windows stationary on a club coupe?

Yeah, I know about the sport coupe (style #2154) but what I was asking about was the club coupe (style #2124).
To me it looks exactly like the 210 2-door sedan (style #2102), but there must be a difference or there wouldn't be two different style numbers.

1011 is a 2dr 210 sedan
1011A is a 2dr 210 sedan with the Del Ray interior option.

Okay, the Del Ray interior explanation makes sense.
What got me started on this is that I happened to notice that the style number on the firewall trim tag on my '55 Bel Air is 1011A. The car is a Bel Air 2-door sedan, so the style number should be 1011D. I know it's really a Bel Air because the VIN is VC55T######, with the C indicating Bel Air.
Apparently somebody replaced a missing or damaged trim tag with one from a 210 club coupe at some time in the car's history. Once I looked at it, I could see that it is attached with pop rivets. The tag shows a paint code of 617 (India Ivory over Gypsy Red) and an interior trim code of 508 (ivory & black vinyl). Kind of a strange paint/interior color combination in my opinion, but maybe that's because of the Del Ray interior option.
Anyway, thanks for the information.

B&W interiors were pretty common in the '55 & '56 cars.

One 55 has no back seat and the back windows dont roll down.
I think thats a bussiness mans sedan delray.
I am not sure what you call it but I believe its the same kind of 55 in "American Graffiti".
There are a lot of guys on this site that can correct me and tell me what the one with no back seat is called.

150 2dr sedan with a backseat - style 1211
150 2dr sedan without a backseat from the factory has a wood platform and the rear windows do not roll down - style 1211B, a utility sedan.

The '55 brochure show the difference between the 210 (dark red car) and the Delray Club Coupe interior (beige with blue top car) in the next page to the right.

1954 was the first year for the Delray Club Coupe with the same distinctive style all vinyl interior and carpeting:

Some Chevy guys claim the '54 wasn't called a Delray which isn't true. Scroll down to the second ad below the first in this link:

And you never know what someone did to it in the past.
This 55 was a 150 when I started on it

Here it is as a 150 before I started. Its the one on the ground in the middle.

When I started of this 57 convertible it was a four door sedan

Here are a couple photos of the donor convertible. My oldest son was 17 at the time and when he saw it he said, dad you've done some pretty amazing stuff, but I think you're in over your head on this one, and I wasn't sure that he was wrong. It took four years to do.

Hi Jim,
No, just starting down that road. I have it scheduled for the paint shop in July so I'll start to take it apart in June.
I plan on a factory color combo, not sure which one yet, car was originally Matador Red and Dune Beige.
