OK, here is mine just seconds ago. I have been working on it a lot lately. During the past few weeks I have been on the AAW install, brakes, fuel lines, shifter, Vintage Air where I am running the lines in the fender well area, just installed the condenser this morning.

The '55 I pounded on for twenty five years. Those Buick tailight lenses I bought from Gene Winfield, what a nice guy.
The '57 210 was a drag car since '65. Sold last January to previous owner.
The '57 150 I got home last week. Needs work.

At the local Sonic where my daughter used to work.

Love the way the '55 looks in this picture, the water is not from my '55, was there when I parked.

Mine have been all over CT, but am always ready to show 'em off.....
The '55 gasser is a 4 dr, blown Olds 425, 5 speed Doug Nash, and is running, licensed and street legal now, this shot was when I went down to the track to get my NHRA chassis certification, which is good to 8.50 seconds....

(LINK)There's a long running CT build thread on this car here...
(LINK) And a home page for this car...
Soon will get onto my 55 hardtop project, it's just sitting waiting for me to finish up it's "sister" above....

(LINK) My home page for this car....
Also have and I'm always working on two Chevy pickups, a '58 pro streeter and a '55 4x4, both stepsides. On the project "back list" is a 57 Olds hardtop and a 70 Buick GS455! Hope I live long enough to get them all running and on the road....

I assume you are talking about the Chevy as your daily drive.
Here in LA, the tank might be a better choice. At least it would be more difficult to pull it on a flat bed and hall it away.

I would like to make my avatar a photo of my car. I only find a place to add a URL and not a way to upload a photo from my hard drive under the "Image" icon above. This is the same issue for "Let's See Your Ride". How do I upload?? Am I just blind?

You have to have your pictures on a on-line hosting service before you can post them here. Checkout PictureTrail.com. There are several other sites but their names elude me at the moment.

That looks sooooo weird without the trunk lid on.
I had to do a double take. WHAT DAAAA?
Then I realized what it was.

I'm jealous, I have to get mine up here. but I have to say another thing, everyone of these cars (Trucks) are exceptional!
May they live forever as they come from a time that we will NEVER see again.. I'm getting teary-eyed!
Just because your car/truck was "Made In America" doesn't mean it's American made... think about it. Buy American First. |
