Hi,
Had to buy a new multiple switch including hazard at the left side of the steering wheel. And at my place it was not for free, abouth $ 450,00
The reason was that I broke the hazard switch when replacing the dash board
The new unit/incl harness, I have disconnected the 2-wire connector but don“t understand how to unlock the two major conectors from the bigger multiple connector under the dashboard.
(I really hope you understand my description, pls ask if anyting are ?? )
Any advice is great to recive
Thanks Todd

I'd let the column down.
The two connectors are mounted in clips on the top of the steering tube above the brake pedal area.

Thank you Allan,
The new part have a harness with 3 connectors.
One 2-pin, a 13-pin and a 17-pin.
The 2-pin are located on the top of the steering tube above the brake pedal area, just as you said, and I have managed to disconnect that one.
My problem are the 2 others that are connected out left and out right at a multiple connector.
I am not sure how to open that connector.
At the lower part of the front, the connector have a screw. I have opened that but it will not seperate.
At the side of the connectors I have some blue plastic "lock" ??
I have tried to take one of them out of position, but not much happened. What function do they have ??
Anyone remember how to do this change of harness.
Thanks Todd.

Those plastic locks are only to retain the wires in the connector end, they're not meant to be removed.
The connector with the bolt in the middle will pull apart if you're just persistent (and careful) with it.
The lock tabs on some of these connectors can be a real pain to get apart, just takes patience and the right amount of wiggling.

The copper colored bolt is the only one hold together the mail and female part of the multiple connector.
Female parts come from the dashboard.
But it was not possible to seperate them until the multiple connector unit was disconnected from it`s bracket by a small black bolt.
Then the harness connectors can be reliesed by depressing a lock-tab ?? in the middle of the connector and then pushing them forwards.
I really hope I have used some understanding words for this description
And I hope some more people can be helped of this description.
But the "headline" : " Disconnecting multiple switch LH steering wheel " , may not be a correct headline in this matter.
So please somebody change it to a better headline.
The photo will show the female connector with one of the other pushed a little forward.
Thanks Todd.
