Are the front steering/suspension parts (control arms, kingpins, spindles, etc.) interchangeable with the same year Olds, Pontiac, and Buick? I just purchased the coupe. The spindles have been cut off for use on a hay wagon. I'm new to this site. I hope learn and to share what little I know. Thanks.

There is nothing in the suspension, engine, drive line or frame that is the same as tth other GM cars.

Where are you located, OCS? I have the entire front cross member, complete, that I just dropped out of my 41 2dr Sedan. If the Sedan and Coupe use the same front suspension, we may be able to make a deal.

Thanks for the responses gentlemen. I live in central Montana. The 41 was purchased 12 March 2012. It is still sitting on blocks in the same pasture where it's been since 1964. It is complete except for the carburator, generator, wheels, and the spindles. The 57 years of raccoon feces was included at no extra charge. The spindles were torched off at the kingpins. I will need everything that comes after the contol arms. I also need to decide whether to repair the front end in the pasture or try to get it on a trailer without damaging the body.

Panama Red, My 41 appears to be the same model as the car pictured in your posting re: lowered stance. Maybe we can work out a deal on the parts you mentioned earlier.

Possibly. Let me take a look at it. I just put a kingpin kit in it last year. Hadn't decided what to do with the entire front end. I'll get back with you thru PM.
