Hey guys, MadMooks has officially become a sponsor and will display all our new and used nomad/wagon parts in this thread. For those of you who don't know about us, we specialize in nomad only parts. Lift-gate straightening and restoration is a huge part of our operation, as well as manufacturing nomad parts that were previously unavailable to the nomad community. I will post some pictures below of some of our parts and services, feel free to email or contact us directly with any questions or orders. you can see all our parts and services as well as customer rides at www.MadMooks.com
Liftgate Straightening and Restoration
Our restorations are very detailed. all the detail in the corners are preserved, and not ground down. the jamb area of the liftgate comes standard polished on our liftgates for that extra shine when the gate is up.

Liftgate Gas Struts
Removing the torsion rods on your nomad is a must, they are the reason liftgates need straightening. After removal, the liftgate will become very heavy to lift. Gas Struts alleviate that weight and make opening and closing the liftgate a breeze. struts come with all stainless steel components, and mount to the factory holes with no grinding or fabrication. offered in brushed or polished finish. we do offer a kit for the wagons as well.

Liftgate Anti- Rattle and Striker
Eliminate Liftgate rattling with this one piece 14 gauge polished stainless molding. This piece is designed to replace the 3 piece setup that is proned to rattling from the striker plate rivets. Trim comes with factory plate on the backside for striker adjustment. each piece comes with all stainless hardware and dynamat for additional sound deadening. MadMooks Liftgate striker is CNC machined out of 304 stainless and will not chip or break like original potmetal pieces. offered in brushed or polished.

thanks Junior! appreciate it.
Cargo Deck Stainless
MadMooks cargo deck stainless kit is identical to factory specs. each mirrored stainless piece gets stamped, then final polished for a show quality finish. 10 pieces available right now. remaining 4 pieces for the deck, and 5 inner tailgate pieces to be available by June. we also manufacturer the inner tailgate plate out of stainless steel. all parts will work for the wagons as shown ( some wagons had painted steel trim )
our objective was to offer an affordable cargo deck kit available without sacrificing quality. we also offer individual pieces for the guys who need all a few to complete their set. all made in america

Thanks Jay! I plan to have plenty in stock so no rush!
here are pictures of the final install of all 14 pieces for the deck, including spare tire ring. im very happy with the fit and finish of everything. this has been a long time coming. i just ordered black linoleum for the cargo deck to install on this 57. it will really pop with all the stainless. the pictures dont do the pieces justice. the finish of these pieces is almost as good as chrome. cant see polishing the originals to this high luster shine.

I won't be getting to my Nomad for years, unfortunately. I have 4 other cars to do first, though two need less work then the other two since they are somewhat started.
I have all of the non-reproduced parts for the Nomad and still want to acquire some of the repro parts in either used, NOS or repro if they are nice enough, which everything you're offering seems to be. Keep up the great work.

started shipping orders today :tu been working on this since last august, finally have all the trim for the deck including the finger ring for the spare tire lid. the inner tailgate pieces will be available by June. 11 of the 15 pieces will work for wagons as well. basically everything except the wide wheel well pieces and dog legs. i believe the wagons just had a straight piece and its longer then the nomad piece
i will be installing new black linoleum and wood on my dads 57 nomad. i will take a bunch of pictures of the install detailing this process for anyone who plans on doing this.
here are a few pics:

we just added the remaining pieces to the cargo deck kit. with these 5 pieces for the inner tailgate, we now have a complete 20 piece set, priced at 800 dollars. this is 200-300 cheaper then the other set on the market, and we guarantee the best quality reproductions.
we also sell partial sets, so customers dont have to spend 800 to get the pieces they need.

Guys,
I have MadMooks re-doing my Nomad liftgate. Dropped it off last week. We have quite a plan for it, to bring it back into the "bragging" zone.
Watch for some pics coming in a seperate post in a month or so. (Hey...good chroming takes time 'ya know!)

Appreciate that Paul. Cant wait to see how it comes out.
while im posting, thought i would add these...
Sedan Delivery Gas Strut kit. The gas strut kits for the nomads and wagons have been available for quite some time and are a great upgrade. They are a breath of fresh air compared to the original setup. For the sedan delivery guys, even more so with the weight of the hatch. Just like the nomads and wagons, its a bolt on kit. here are a few pictures and a video of the kit...

Finally started rollin on these and overall am pleased with the final result. Our kit will include new spacers, pins, and a polished aluminum replacement swing arm. Customers will send us their stock units, we will rebuild and assemble with our new stuff and return. Not only do they look better than the originals, but its also a straight piece. The original swing arms do get twisted from the torsion rods as well, sometimes so bad that prohibits proper fitment of the liftgate. Since torsion rods are removed, we omitted the gap with the hook in our design, its a lot cleaner in my opinion.
check em out, any feedback would be appreciated. thank you as always!

Hi Guys, We just added a new part to our product line. It’s the tailgate latch strikers for all nomads and wagons. We CNC machined these out of 304 stainless instead of stamping steel like the factory pieces. Ours are heavy duty and will take all the punishment of the tailgate, unlike the originals which are commonly seen bent ( pictured below ) . These will come polished ready to go with all hardware. See below for pictures of final product as well as factory comparisons. Feel free to email or call with any questions or orders.
