Here's mine. All original vehicle (only new additions were replacement of broken parts) with 70,000 miles on it. 235 / P G, no other accessories. Manual everything.

Wow! I love that 59 Belair. If it were a 3-speed, it would be exactly like my second car.

Thanks Jerry,
Once in a while, I get "the itch" to do some changes in the engine and such but it's SO original I quickly come to my senses, put the cover back on it... AND LEAVE IT ALONE !!!

My 52,000 mile 350HP, solid lifter, tri-power, 4 speed, 3:70 posi car. Correct factory car built the third week in May of 60. Repainted Roman red from Black by the second owner in 1981.

Good Eye Richard! Yes, the 1960 Pontiac emblems were put on the car by the original owner in 1962 along with a set of Fenton Stamped Steel "mag" wheels which I did get with the car. It also had the Cal Custom Chromed gauge pods installed in it at the same time which I also still have as well. Very minor rust in one quarter and rocker which were fixed 30 years ago. The wheels were NOS 61's in the GM boxes. I also have a set of the correct 1960 5.5" wheels which are really close. Drivetrain is all there and is original to the car including the total correct and working Tri-Power gig. 2 previous owners both of whom I know. Local car all it's life. Sold new at Haddinfield Chevrolet in Haddonfield NJ (long gone now). The engine in it now is a 280HP one while we are re-building the original. Notice the tag number (TRIPS)?

This was taken 2 days ago as my 60 left for it's last road trip with the 235. It is at my body mans place now getting swapped with my new small block, after he does my firewall and everything else under the hood. I can't wait to see how it turns out.

this is a old picture from 1980's. this was my daily driver (not in winter) for many years. dubbed "nite moves" from bob seager song. all original paint and interior was in very good condition for midwest car. it came as 6 cyl/powerglide, i bought a wrecked 60 doaner 4 door with a 283/powerglide which i transplanted, looked factory installed (less exterior V8 emblems).

The 59
The day I brought it home
Day before my 45 B-day

June 2006-----right before my 46 B-day

She allowed me to buy this before the 59 was finished.

And it now just about ready to roll.
Just restarted the engine after over 5 years
Bought new tires for it yesterday----pic is a few months old

And of course my daily when the weather is not too cold.

(don't ya just hate it when someone tosses an oddball car in the mix??

Thanks Eric.
The car used to be all white but was repainted in 1999 (before I got it).
It was a huge issue for me to find the right paint that was used as the previous owner did not remember.
I finally found out it is bright green metallic.
So now I am fighting the oil desaster and some other minor things...
