I was thinking of buying another 1966 C10 but this one has sidesteps. For $650 and it's in pretty good condition.
My question is how many of ya'll have more that one old truck or how many projects?
My wife says I don't need another 
Btw: I have been given a 1975 ford F100 that were my wife dads after he passed away. It needs some work.

I got 3 projects and it seems like I'm always working on one of them and it's a rarity that I can actually drive any of them problem free.
Having more than one project requires a bit of time management and commitment to keep all of them from being parts in your driveway. Think it through before you make the commitment to do them.

65 chevy truck....just bought it, haven`t started tearing into it yet
This does not include the half finished gas pumps, coke machines, go-cart, and other toys & projects.

I have several,depending on what you call a project.
A 57 hardtop-slowly doing metal work.
A 64 GMC-slowly doing metalwork.
A 67 Impala-actually doing some metalwork.
A 67 ElCamino-still collecting parts.
A 68 Chevy anniversary special-driver.
A 65 Caprice-driver.
Another 57-driver.
And a lot of others.I've had most of these for years!

I say put the money in to your current C10!
I recently let a super deal on a 1981 Z28 Camaro(the body style I always liked best) with a built 383 stroker, 5 speed, perfect paint and body (new paint) new American Racing chrome torque thrusts wheels, new tires, etc.
The guy was selling it in desperation due to loosing his job, and needed to pay bills.
I KNEW if I bought that Camaro, the 65 would be put on the backburner once again(once with a 1965 Mustang, and twice with a Corvette), so I passed.

Priorities...I have trouble keeping up with one project little alone two. But I still cannot say no to a good deal and have too many projects just waiting on me to get to them. The truck is my main priority and the others can be willed to someone after I am gone if I do not get to them!

Up until a little over a year ago I had my 1960 GMC and was the 2nd owner of a mint condition 1968 Ford F250 camper special. I know I'm getting old, because I just can't manage more than the one primary project I'm interested in. The 68 was mostly neglected until I gave it to my son. I also have modeling and diorama projects, and the endless honeydo lists, so I keep it at one major car/truck project at a time.
The most ambitious (?) guy I ever knew had 28 woodies crammed into his tiny tract house backyard. He had a mint 48 Plymouth and his driver 46 Ford, a Packard and a few in pieces. I thought he was a great guy, and I also thought he was nuts. I mean - 28 woodies??!! A guy could spend a lifetime just fixing up one.

I have 2 "projects" currently
63 Fleetside that is the daily driver
77 K5 Blazer that is getting the bulk of the attention right now.
Honestly the K5 was too good of a deal to pass up. "Free, just have it in your garage by the end of the day". My plan is to put the motor back together in that and make that the daily driver. I am still collecting parts for the 63 and will most likely take her of the road next fall.

My 64 c-10 of course
77 K-5 blazer, just a off road toy. Not going to be street legal.
87 Galsstream free spirit with 454. This boat is all working and runs good just needs some cosmetic fixing, mostly paint.
98 Dodge cummins 2500 4x4. Daily driver needs body and paint work. Bought it this way, got a good deal.

My '66 longbed fleetside. Been picking at it for about 15 years. Frame off restore with a 383 stroker, th700r4, front disc brakes from a '76, body is 80% together. Doing wiring, brakes and other little stuff before it goes back to the body shop for final.
Just started in on my 1950 Dodge B-2-FA. Big farm type truck. Flathead six, 4 speed, 2 speed axle. 13 foot dumping grain bed. Runs good, drives ok, doesn't stop. I've done the wood in the bed over, and removed the nose to have some rust repaired.
1976 Pontiac Ventura. Got this car from Tenn so not much rust. Motor was bad, so I swapped in a '78 Olds Rocket 350 with some "goodies". Not over the top by any means, just a mild improvement over stock. Been picking at this one also for about 12 years. Getting tired of it though - I'd rather have another farm type truck.
Got suckered into a 1965 International Travelall. Strickly a parts vehicle at this point. Wayy too much rust.
Not bad considering all is done on a weekly budget. I started at about $25 a week 20 years ago, and I'm up to about $60 a week now.

Apart from my "rolling upgrade" `63 C-10 daily, I have a `69 VW Karmann Ghia that's getting a restification, also as I drive it.
Last summer we bought an `86 Honda Rebel 450 for the wife that needed engine work down to split case and crank in hand. I ride a `51 BMW 500 that requires constant tinkering.
I'm mentoring my teenage son re-doing a `74 Dodge Charge that had one foot in the grave after sitting in a field for years. Needs everything and lots of rust.
My magnum opus is a `54 Jaguar Mk7 sedan I bought 12 yrs. ago that's getting a custom build: 383 stroker (built and ready on the stand), 4" narrowed T-Bird IRS (installed), 700r4, 4" narrowed `80's Jag IFS, air-ride, `04 Chrysler 300 leather seats.
All the while running a business, maintaining home, store, and a 6 apt. building. I'm loath to hire anything done.

I have 3 projects taking up space in my garage.
My 64 C10 has been apart way to long. Slowly making progress getting it back together.
My 57 Belair 2dr is currently down for a new gas tank and fuel lines. It should be back together in a few weeks.
My 72 Camaro is waiting its turn in line for a 6.0/T56 swap. I might just put the T56 in behind the 350 that came out of the car and start driving it.
Too many projects, not enough time or $$$$$$$.

I envy you guy's that have the space and can work on more than one project at a time. I found that I can't get anyting done if I try to work on more than one major project. It could be space, equipment, $$$$, time, whatever, I can only do one thing at a time.
I have a 69 Camaro in the garage that I am finishing LS2/TKO swap. After that, I need fix/correct a laundry list of nagging stuff on the 64. The 64 is the daily driver, so I gotta keep it running until I get the car done.

Well guys I sold that 1964 Chevy C10 becasue after two years of neglect I need to let it go so someone else could actually fix it up. With the money I will be putting into my 1966 Chevy C10 and that 1974 Ford. The only reason for the Ford is that it's my father-inlaws and I would like to see it in mint shape.
So cutting back on at lest one project.

Sometimes things like that happen. We sold the 31 Chevy coach..... but then bought the Vette a couple months later.
