If dropping a socket from a socket wrench and it winds up within the frame down below the radiator, is there an opening somewhere where I can throw down a magnet and fish it out. I've done it before, if I remember correctly, with my arm and can't remember the location of the opening. It's a 56 2dr sedan stock frame.

There are 2 fairly large holes in the bottom of the frame where you can probably get to the socket.

One trick I have used is to tie with string, or tape a magnet to an electrician's "fishtape". Then feed the fishtape down into the frame, hopefully you can snag the tool without the magnet holding onto the frame too much. David
