Hello! Recently I replaced the emergency brake foot pedal assembly on my '70 Custom/10. When I go to use it, the pedal can hardly pull the cable! HELP!

Are you sure it has been routed back to the O.E. locations?

Have you tried to adjust it "out" at all?

I hooked the new pedal assembly up just as the old one was... How do I adjust it "out?"

As long as nothing is binding inside (on the new pedal assembly, there is a 1/2" nut adjustment under the truck's cab. Look around the transmission tailshaft area for a long threaded bolt where the e-brake cable joins and 'pulls' forward to engage the 2 rear brake cables...
