I went to put something into the glove box only to have it fall on the floor!
This thing is all cracked up & some chunks of the cardboard are missing.
I tried to patch it up with duct tape -
(I figured this would be another one of those million or is it a billion uses for that stuff - sounds like our national debt) anyway it kept breaking up & I finnally realized this thing is JUNK!
I had some old .040 scrap pieces of aluminum laying around. I cut it up into pieces but leaving enough that I could bend the edges up to make a flange - than put these pieces together in place with dabs of clear silicone sealant (availabe at WalMart - another of the things with a Billion no Trillion or are we up to a Zillion uses) and WALLA quicker than you can say Deficite Neutral - an Aluminium glovebox!
Definetly not NOS but its better than what I had etc.......

i traced mine out onto thin sheet metal and then folded/bent it up to make a steel one. Painted it black, installed a glove box light and I was golden.
You'll want to put a piece of rubber or even auto carpet in there to keep all our junk from rattleing and driving you crazy
Since I have never been able to post pics on this board, I'll link you to photos on another board;

Good idea!
I have some thin rubber sheet stuff I got someplace once that I used to line the drawers in the tool chest - I can use that!
