Greeting from Mid Michigan. I am a serious Chevy guy. I have had a lot cars and pickups, I guess about 45 of which 1 ford pickup, 1 mustang, 1 dodge pickup 2 dodge charges a few Pontiacs and 2 GMC's. The rest were all Chevrolets. At the moment I have and will always have 5 Chevies. A 1999 Suburban 4x4, 1998 Z-71 4x4 extended cab, 1992 Camaro RS 25th anniversy, 1983 Camaro Z-28 (the 83 is called Thunderfoot) (both Camaros are T-top), and my baby a 1957 Chevy 150 2 door sedan. I will post pictures when I can. As you can see, I don't worry about gas mileage too much. Its more about pleasure. I also don't have a car payment, gas is that alone.
I found that Chevy was the only thing to drive. I won't ever get anything else.
My '57 needs a lot work, I bought it about 5 ot 6 years ago and it currently sits in my garage. I am hoping next spring to dig in and start getting her ready for the road. I want to a full off frame job, but I want to really drive it as soon as I can, so, I will get it drivable and then when I retire I will do the off frame work. It sits really well. I like the stance, but I need a lot for her. Especially the front metal, everything from the windshield forward. It had a cheap (and cracked)fiberglass tilt front end. I am hoping to drive it by the begining of summer 2011. Anyway, those are my toys. As I said, I will post some photos asap.
