i just replaced both sliding glass. the retaining clips have been out so long i don't remember where some go.
i have the three clips which hold the glass run channel in correctly[below the sliding glass]. i have one [for each side] which is 15/16" wide 1 1/8" tall with a 'lip' opposite the mounting hole. i do not remember where it goes.
the curved piece; there are 2 small plates or tabs which mount onto the curved piece. with 3 holes to choose from.......
any/all help will be appreciated.
delayed projects and old age do not mix well.
thanks rod

OK, i found another Nomad, in basket case shape. the clip-tab [whatever you call it] was still there. so I now know where my mispalced clip goes.
now for some info.
about differences between these cars. jacks '55 and the other Nomad as well as my '56 Nomad all had a small tab just under the glass run channel, just by the big drain hole. my '55 has a screw hole but no tab. at the bottom of the curved glass is a curved piece which holds the glass gasket in place. my '55 has a spot welded clip-tab at the next to last [from the rear] hole [with a screw hole] jacks car and the other Nomad and my '56 do not have this spot welded piece. jacks car was born in janesville while my was born in LA. not sure about the basketcase.

Hi Rod,
Maybe the differences are from production changes. All the bodies came out of the Cleveland Fisher plant.

Rod,
You don't happen to have pictures of the piece that holds the curved glass in do you?
Also, any pictures of clips or other items applicable to the curved glass as well as the windows would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Pat
