I really think it depends on the vehicle and what u want to do with the vehicle. I have the 40's 2 chamber on my 78 c-10 long wheel base truck but I got the 3 chambers on my elky. I believe what they tell me about the elky body cauze everyone says it is like it magnifies the sound and the 3 chambers are a little louder than the 2 chambers on the truck. Keep in mind that u might want to hear the radio
. My 3 cents Terry

I have a MP3 of mine on my site in my sig. I have dual 40 2 chamber Flowmasters with a X pipe. When I change out exahust again I'm going with Hooker Aero Chambers. Cheaper, sound better, and flow the best.

We ran some ultra-flow mufflers on our road racer and they had a real nice sound. Not much noise inside the car, either. I had generic turbos on my Nova and they were very quiet, great for spending long periods in the car.

Dual 3' flowmasters and a good amp for when you want to hear the music.

Big, how do you like the "x-pipe" sound?

The X pipe actually slightly muffles the lope since you don't hear each side "pushing" out the exhaust to cause the lope sound. It does take out some of the "tinny" sound you hear with Flowmasters. All in all it helps performance and sounds good doing it

My exhaust is 1 5/8 headers, 3 inch pipe and dual 2 chamber flowmasters and turndowns right in front of the rear end housing. It sounds great, but forget listening to the radio or sneaking home undetected at four in the morning.

The car looks much better now that I primed it with a gun.
