Hi What is the best method to install the torque converter in a th350 box,Ive heard you have to hold it level and there should be 3 clicks as it engages?also do i put some fluid in it first(how much?)

pound it in with a hammer......then go buy a new pump.
70 L camino 350 all forged,174 baby blower, g-force 5 spd, road rage suspension. Pray first before all else fails.

3 clicks is common but not always the rule. Like when i rebuilt my current th350 for my S10 the convertor clicked once and slid into place. Depends if the stars are lined up and you have good karma that day I suppose.
