Is there any speed equipment available for a 95 S-10 4-cyl engine...AND can they be converted to a distributor ignition?

WOW...Thank you!!! Great resource and site...I registered!!

I'm looking for one thing...were there ever any 2.2L engines with distributors and NO computers.

I have a 2.2L engine and transmission left over from the teardown of a 95 S-10 that I'm using as the basis for my 53 5-window Pickup build.

I'd like to use the engine, but NOT in a computer controlled configuration.

SleeperSS is from the site. I check it now and then too.

The 2.2L engine was all FI according to this information. http://www.s-series.org/history/s10history.htm

A conversion may be possible. Is the 2.2L a foreign engine?

I wish I knew...I am totally ignorant about the engine!

But, it sure seems to have a distributor mount location at the right rear...
