"Another reason of why this site and the people that participate in it are great. I have been in need of a good running engine for the fleetline and thanks to Patgizz I now have one. He was kind enough to give a nice 250 I6 motor. Thanks again Pat!!!"

I have a '02 2500HD, and I am installing the temp/compass mirror, but can't find the outside temp sensor location and pigtail for it. Anyone have one they can look at and tell me where it is at? The truck is wired in the cab for the mirror, but apparently the sensor is not installed.

On the '03s it's behind the passenger-side turn signal light. Did you look there?

Yeah, discovered that, but did not find the pigtail for it. I guess it isn't wired for it. I found the connector under the dash for the wires up under the headliner, now if I could find where they are out in the power center I could wire it up myself.

My 05' didn't have one. If your truck doesn't come with the temp/compass/auto dimming mirror, no harness or sensor on the truck. That's how mine was anyway. I bought the mirror, then bought the sensor from Mito, and wired up my own harness.

That is the direction I am going too. Sensor and harness is on the way. Based on my wire trace I should have a spot to plug into under the hood, just don't know if I will look that hard for it. Where did you run the wire into the cab?
