Will '90 Suburban front doors fit a '84 K20?

The doors are rusted bad at the bottom on my '84 Truck and I found a '90 suburban donor with good doors.

Thanks!

yes. The only difference I am aware of is if they have electric windows you'll have two extra buttons on the drivers side. I always wanted to wire something extra to those two buttons, but never got around to it. Would have been some neat James Bond stuff. I put 78 Suburban doors on a 79 K10. Cabs, doors and bed were interchangeable from 73 to 87 on the pickups, and the doors up to 91 on Blazers and Subs. Gotta love the interchangeability of those trucks. Virtually every drivline part is interchangeable too. You could use the entire front clip and radiator support, the 89-91 Sub/Blazer nose was a common mod. My 81 K20 had a 90 GMC Jimmy nose on it, gives it a more modern look.

I am about to interchange an 88 suburban trans and transfer case in my 79 so I can have some overdrive... Now I think I might even cut the burb frame down to put my 65 short box body on... only time will tell...

The back doors would work on a 3+3 right?

I come across a 87 Sub in the bone yard today and the doors are in excellent condition and the door panels are to.No rust at all under the bottom and checked all over the outside for bondo with a magnet. They have pwr windows and door locks also.I can buy them for $250.oo with all the wiring and ect.I will be taking them out and will be able to tag everything for reinstalling them. My 86 C10 has roll up windows and will be making the swap in the future.Has any one made this change and what [if any] problems did you have? Also other than the wiring harness is there any thing else I should remove? How does the price sound for these?I live in the north east and doors like these are hard to find. Thanks in advance for any comments or advice.

The doors will fit, make sure you get the entire harness. It will include the relays for the locks. It will also have the switched and non-switched hot leads. Do not cut the back door leads off, just unplug the rear doors (plugs are in the door post). Good Luck with your project.
