Excellent good on you. Nice to see other Saskatchewanians on here with a common interest. I to also have a Pontiac i'm working on as well for my Brother in law it's a very very rare 49 sedan delivery, less then 600 built and only in Canada.you can sort of see it in the garage in one of my pictures here. Once I get it road worthy I'll post pictures of it as well. Is there anyone in your neck of the woods that has parts for these cars?

Rob

Well for starters a 383 with a 700r. 410 posi, lowered about 2 inches more in the front. Havent set a color in stone yet but highley leaning on that crylser 300 cream with white roof and between trim on Quaters. Set of smoothie steel rims same color of course 15x12's out back. Should look pretty killer if I ever get it done. 2 weeks the frame is going to get blasted and I have to go through all that before I start on the body. I hope to have it in paint by next spring.

OK, I'm new, here's my car:

1951 Styleline Special. It was an early Father's Day gift from my wife and daughter. They tucked away spare change and a twenty or two for about six months and then handed me an envelope full of cash and said "Go get a project car"

The 216 runs OK, but needs a tuneup. I've already repaired the clutch in it, it now runs and drives. It needs some brake and suspension work and a total rewire to be roadworthy, which is the next phase.

It looks as if it may have lost a wheel at some point. The door and fender are seriously torn up. Of course, they were FULL of Bondo, which made them crumple a lot nicer. Quarters are full of it, too. Sometimes I think it's not a real car, but a clay model that someone put an engine in.

Scored this fender for 50 bucks. Surface rust only- no holes except for the ones put in at the factory.

The plan is to get it roadworthy and drive it for a few months before diggin in hard and heavy. I'm going custom with it. I may change plans, but right nhow, I'm probably going to go with a bigger six. I want to keep it a very traditional kustom. I'll mjake a few safety and reliability concessions, but it will definitely feel like it's from a different time.

My '51 Styleline Spl. build: http://51kustom.blogspot.com/
