Here is a photo of my mom's 1952 Chevy Styline Deluxe Convert. It has been in the family since new. God has been very good through it all ! I torn it apart when I was 13 and 17 years later, it was on the road.
Sorry for the big photo size, it was the best I had.

Long term project. Has 425 Cadillac engine with turbo 400 trans. Also has 1976 Camaro subframe, brakes, steering and rear axle/suspension. Future plans call for shaved everthing, one piece windshield, solid one piece front door glass(no vent windows). But before that, tons of body work.

Ive been drooling over that ride for a long time Tony ,Awesome .
Heres a pic of mine which I not long purchased but have absolutely no history on .
The chop looks real close to yours , How many inches front and back has yours been dropped ? and was the roof just dropped or extended to match back up to the original position ?
Believe it or not I have about eight photo's of yours on my computer from web searches and magazines

My '50 :

-

A close friend of my family since the early 50's had the car he only drove in the summer - to get the mail on the "main road" , to town once a week or so to get groceries, and to "the lake" - the local swimming hole.. In the 50's I rode with him often as a young kid to "the lake" or to get the mail etc. . In the 60's I blossomed into a mechanic and was able to help the aging gentleman with the car- fixing the generator, brakes and other minor repairs. He was impressed when I fabbed up a directional signal arm from a bicycle part after he put in a ditch one night and broke the directional and the horn ring.
The 60's came and went, I moved from home and I visited the gentleman, now elderly, on occasion and he would joke about the bicycle part I added to his car many years earlier. In 1975 he passed on and many people wanted the car, A 1950 Chevy fleetline DeLuxe with 26,000 miles on it and never driven in winter. His widow insisted that I get the car as she knew I would "take care of it like always".
I still have the car and it now has 37,000 miles on it. Aside from a clutch @ 1979, Fresh paint @ 1981 and some minor repairs, it is exactly as it was when I rode with the original owner so many years ago.

PS My car and its story was in Hemmings Classic Cars January 2006 edition in the "Drivable Dreams" article.

Hello all, my name is Cesar. I am a long time lurker and just started working on my 54 a couple of months ago. I've had it for over 10 years and am just getting around to doing something with it. I have gotten lots of help from this website and hope to be able to contribute myself. Thanks

I don't have any pictures of my FACTORY 5sp 1976 Cutlass with a 455 that I special ordered new, but maybe I'll take a picture sometime.

The conv is mine (I lost this race). In the top photo, you can barely see the right headlight of the conv up on my lift.

We have big plans...56 rear end, discs up front 350 350 combo, etc etc. I hope that he doesn't mind that I posted his pic

OK, I figured it out. Here is my new project, a 53 Belair with a 307 that will be replaced with a 283 out of a 57. I plan on chopping it 4", and of course lowering it.

I've been lurking on this forum since the start of the year and have been reading the all the posts with great interest. I aquired my 50 Fleetline DeLuxe eleven years ago and as you can see it doesn't need a great deal of work. The car's 99.9% complete and has no rust (that I have found yet ).
It only has about 36,000 miles on it and the only work that's been done is a paint job about 20+ years ago. Other than that is all original!

I plan on going the Small block chevy, 700R4 and Mustang II route and hoping to start this fall.

I've already been to Aarons 50chevy.com site and between this site and his I'm amazed at the wealth of information I've found.

This is one I acquired about 3 weeks ago. My grandad restored this in Wyoming and I started showing it here in Memphis. He ran out of room in the garage, and it londed in my lap. It's a joy to drive, and all parts are original style. It's a 2 tone fade paint job with the interior matching the color of the top.
