****SOLD****
I'm going back to stock spindles on my 55 sedan. Here's what I'll have available to sell sometime in the next few weeks:
McGaughy's 2" drop spindles for 55-57 car
US Brake GM metric calipers with oversize pistons (2-3/4" vs. 2-3/8" stock) painted with hi-temp black epoxy caliper paint.
Performance Friction carbon metallic pads (less than 500 miles on them)
10.5" GM metric rotors
wheel bearings and seals
Caliper mounting brackets are cast into the spindles, so no bolt-on brackets are needed. Rotors don't need surfacing. Bearings, races, and spindle bearing surfaces are perfect. Calipers were new in 2008.
The brakes worked very well with a 1-1/8" bore master cylinder and dual 8" booster on an engine that made around 18"-20" vacuum at idle. Without a booster, or with lower vacuum, a 1" bore master cylinder would work best.
Asking $275 + actual shipping for all above items. McGaughy's spindles alone sell for $290 at Summit Racing. Calipers cost me $140/pr back in 2008.
Will post pictures soon.
Please send me a private message if interested.

New price: Make offer
All parts are off the car and ready to go. Send me a Private Topic if interested. Weight is pretty substantial, so best bet would be pickup here in North Texas.
