Found some better than mine seats in a 1993 Jimmy and I have a 1993 s10.
It has power seats......... I don't need those, but there is another problem.
The seats on my s10 can fold down forwards and the This Jimmy's seats don't do that...... it has 4 doors so it doesn't need that fold forward option.
I need that option tho, since mine is an extended cab s10.
How hard is it to swap only the seat and backs from the Jimmy, into the mechanical seat parts of my s10 to retain the fold forward ability?
OK to move this to the S10 forum if it's better suited for there.

Randy, the foam and covers should fit, but the back frame is different and bolted in two places. You can make it fold forward by removing the two top bolts in the backrest side frame. But the backs won't lock in the up position and won't be as safe in an accident.

You "might" be able to swap foam and covers from the Jimmy seats onto your S-10 frames, not for sure but that should work. If you want the electric tracks they might also bolt right up to your frames.
You will have to set them side by side and compare to be sure.

I've bought the covers for the Blazer/Jimmy, as long as they are the same style of seat, 2 door/4 door/ute or pickup will all interchange. I've done several sets in my upholstery shop.

I've just never seen the inner structure of the seats to know how to do it.
I didn't measure the back height to see if it's exactly the same as mine. I assume it is. When I get a chance, I'll have to stop back by and look at them more closely.

seams the simplest option here is to find a 2 door jimmy or other s10 to swap with. a 2 door will at least have a split folding seat, or find a set of buckets you like.

Those seats were really, really nice and the price was right. No money for em now anyway.
............I installed an electric fan instead, just need to wire it up.
