What would be the best primers to use, PPG Shop Line or Duponts second line Nason? I have only used PPG roducts in the past.Due to cost Iam looking into second line primers, and will cover with the name brand paint.

Omni - the second line primer that PPG puts out - is a fairly good product. I've used the epoxy primer a lot on work vehicles, it wears like iron just like the DPLF(40-90) first line primer.
It has a very mild tendency to orange peel, but if you use a light coat, a larger tip and a little thinner it sprays out fine. It might be an issue on a world class paint job, but for most vehicles it is perfectly fine and will never be noticed.

Isn't Shop Line the same thing as Omni, just the new name? Slo, I found Shop Line at Brault's. I forget what part of town you're coming from but that's right over here by my shop - they're on West Rd. just West of I-45 a little bit.
Oh, and of course at Single Source just South of me on Aldine Westfield but you already heard the story about why I won't be buying anything from them again.

Oof, nevermind what I said, checked PPG's site and they are different products. No idea if one is "better" than the other or which would be which.
