ive been searching day and night for the right trans company on the internet to buy from. U guys have any info on transdepot, monster trans, or bowtie. also ive been looking at preformance built trans. Any reviews or dealings with tease companys would help me alot as I know there are some ripoffs out there

The bowtie overdrives look nicer than the monster transmissions. I haven't seen the other. I've been window shopping myself but haven't bought anything.

Where do live? I would recommend my tranny builder over anybody on the Internet. None of his has ever failed. All of them run strong and are built right.

What type of transmission?

Phoenix Transmissions in Weatherford, TX specializes in high performance GM automatics, and I've heard nothing but good things about them. Cleanest, neatest shop I've ever seen.

its always best to deal locally if its possible that way if problems do occur you can drive over or have the car towed over for inspection and diagnosis.

What type of trans are you looking for?

I agree with dealing with some local but talk to others that have dealt with the shop or person. I have a good friend that has done all of mine as well as a lot of people I have recommended to him. He is been doing all types of trans for about 30 years and worked for GM. You can have the best builder in the world but you also need to use quality parts and carefully inspect parts you use. A trans may fail due to a bad or defective part and it may not be the builders fault but will make him look bad.

Also try RPM Transmission in IN., Rodney is a great guy and builds a lot of high end stuff that last.

Well I'm assuming you want an overdrive, cuz' bowtie only sells Chevy overdrive transmissions. Bowtie overdrives product is good. They road test every trans they build in a company mule. More on the performance side I like Pro-built. Dana really knows his stuff.
