I just picked up a Lund lighted moonvisor for 10 bucks at a yard sale. Good condition. My question is there are 2 wires positive and ground how do i hook them up to my running lights without them blinking when i turn the turn signal on? Thanks in advance

you dont want to wire into the turn signal line
you want to wire into the running lights (hot) thru headlight switch...
the other line goes to ground
Words are a lot like toothpaste... Once its out of the tube,
there's no getting it back in... |

brake and turn is on one line.
running lights on another...
pull headlight switch 1/2 way out and use a test light to find the hot line going out to running lights from the headlight switch...
one of you visor wires taps to the mentioned hot line, the other goes to chassis ground...

Ok i will try that this weekend and hook them up. I put my batt charger on the wires to see if the lights come on and they all come on so im good there. Will hook them up to the switch this weekend. If i can get my headlight switch out that is lol. Last time i tried and got frustrated and said forget it. But will try again

reach under dash, there is a spring loaded button you have to push in as you pull the headlight switch out>>> all the way... the switch pull comes all the way out of the switch...
then remove the keeper nut and the switch assembly should fall backwards under the dash.
if the wiring is long enough, it will dangle under the dash.
put the switch rod back in. work the switch in and out to make sure it works, pull switch 1/2 way out to turn on running lights.
find the hot feed to running to the running lights

Works perfectly. Was a little challenge to get the switch off. Previous owner put a birds nest of wires under there. Going to have to fix that real soon. But the lights are working. Thanks

Lol that would be cool to do that and block of the lower marker lights and park on a hill in the mountains near town and just have them flashing at night and freak people out lol. Or make it stream flash like knight ryder
