Found an 85 C30 cube van with a 2bbl. & smog (air) pump.
Looks stock from the pics,seller claims it's a 350.
I'm thinking 305?
Will need to get some #'s to confirm.
Did the have a 350 with 2bbl then?
Maybe California emissions?

It could be ordered with both, so either a 305 or 350 could be installed. If the timing reference "bullseye" is located in the top center of the timing cover, it is usually a 305. If the timing reference tab is located on the drivers side of the timing cover, it is probably a 350.
Both could be had with a 2bbl.
If it has an AIR pump, it is probably a California model.

Should be a 400 in a C30.

It can be either one - both the th350 and th400 came in the C30. Most people feel that a 1 ton chassis should only have a th400, but the th350 was commonly used. I have a C30 van chassis motor home with a 400 and a th350.

OK,it appears to have been built with a 305/2bbl. & now has a GM Mexican crate 350 with the original 2bbl. intake & carb installed on it.
It also has an AIR pump with what appear to be steel welded exhaust manifolds? (not headers)
The trans is an MX1 which is a TH350 with a lock-up converter,as I understand it?
