I got you the link I think already. gunna put the springs in one day next week when i'm off then its gettin tore down so I can get it over to paint.

are you going to chrome the piece behind the back window and the marker light bezels also?

heading to summit on sat,do you need anything? haha .i have ordered some other parts also,so...by middle of next week i will have enough stuff to start putting the m/t back together.i will post some pics when it all gets here.
i should get about 4 or 5 days in the garage next break,so i will get alot done,i hope.

hey, were did ya find the new mirrors? seems like i find 74-76 and 71-72 but having a hard time finding 73.mine is a non remote and i dont have a pass one.

yeah the bezels and the back window filler is gettin chromed as well so the polished trim surrounds the back window with the chrome at the bottom. Id really love to do some motor work to this one but I'm just not that serious about it yet. maybe over the winter I will. as long as its mechanically sound I'm ok..If I ever find that 71 vert its gettin a beast under the hood.

went over today and didn't expect much to have been done but they had got to it right after i dropped it off.. cut out the rust and replaced with new metal..don't want the paint to bubble in 6 months and its cancer it must be cut out to get it all.wasnt much at all maybe 3 small places but it had to go

They knocked it down and had filler on the small dents and dings already. Its movin along pretty good. at this rate I'll have the car painted before I get the chrome back

Hi Caprice 513.
I'm Terry, I;m a 1973 Chevy Caprice Classic Convertible owner in England.

I'm mid-way through a thorough resto with my Caprice, having owned it for the past 8 years or so.

I read with interest, the progress of your 73, and would love to know where you managed to get hold of rear light lenses?- Mine really let the car down and I just cant seem to find any for sale?- I want to replace with same. IE: the red lenses. Soi if you do decide on the clear lenses and would like to sell the red one, I'd be VERY interested, and they would find a great home here in the UK.

I struggle with obtaining parts for my 73 Caprice, and would really appreciate any suggestions you may have for OEM parts or quality repro parts.

Thank you, and well done on the work on your 73. What a lovly ride it is?

Terry / Engand

Red lenses? I take it you mean the stop and rear running lights? Why I wonder was I thought that amber lenses were mandatory for turn signals in the UK.
