I have a couple of questions.
First of all I'm new to the 67 forum. I've just sold my 66 BBC 4 speed car and am just about ready to pull the trigger on a 67 Impala SS convert with air, ps, pb, pw, pt. (jumping from the 65-66 forum to here. )
Its a beautiful car but need a little bit of detailing under the hood.
1) Where is the best place to get engine decals? Does anyone make a complete package for under the hood? This is a 283 2bbl car.
2) What about side trim. The lower trim was removed. It looks nice but I'd like to replace it. I understand its not repopped. Where should I begin looking for the 67 stuff?
3) anyone have really good photo of the 67 283 2bbl engine compartment completely restored. If so please either post or send to me Jim.Biron@gmail.com
Thanks,

I have never seen a full decal set. I believe that they are all made by Jim Osborne and available everywhere. That lower side trim is a 1 year 1 model only item, hence not much chance for reproduction. Expect to pay $1K-$3K for all 4 pieces depending on condition. Just keep watching eBay.

Thanks,
I'm ready to pull the trigger on this new 67 and I've got a lot to learn. (Unlearn everthing I know about 65-66 and relearn 67. )

Jim, don't "unlearn" everything you already know about 65-66's because there are a lot of similarities between the model years!

Jim I got all my decals from classic industries and I have the same engine in my 67, they don't go for an arm and a leg.
Side trim you have a pic what you need, I may be able to help you out, because I shaved the trim when I painted mine.

Just about any decal you might need can be found here: >>CHEVY IMPALA RESTORATION DECALS<<
Just filter by year and narrow your search by category on the left.
Thanks
