my grandparents had one like this. i think it was made from Bakelite or something? it was heavier than plastic.... HIckory-6238 doc

I have one on the shelf in the phone booth in my shop. Still hooked up and working. My grandaughters try to push the holes like buttons to make it work.Sometimes when I'm working in the shop I will be watching old shows like dragnet or 1 adam 12 and they will have a phone ring.Almost tricks me every time. Sounds just like my phone.
