I bought these accel spark plug wires that u need to assemble yourself. Now you need a special crimping tool for connecting the little metal end to the wire only I don't feel like dishing out an extra $35 to finish the job. Anyone ever use a regular pair of pliers on these before without messing them up?

i use a electrical stripping/crimp tool. near the front it has a w shaped part on the crimper and by working carefully and in stages it will crimp the end on very nicely. if you do not have one, they are not expensive.
