I believe '63 was the biggest selling year, so America voted with their $$'s. That, and I have one....

Ollie, you have some x-plain-en to do. I first came across the poll in the 58-60 forum, voted for the 58 and saw the results... 58 had a sizable lead. Now here, about 45 minutes later I voted for the 63 (2nd favorite) just so I could view the results again and see totally different results.

Does each forum have a seperate poll and you plan to combine the results after it's over?

Lets keep Chad out of this...

Back when these cars were new, I had a 1958. 1959 1962, and a 1964. I picked the 1961, because I believe that was the best looking one of the bunch. In 1966 I got a Caprice, and it was an OK car, but nothing great. The one that I still wish that I had was my 1957 Dodge convertible. That car rode well, had lots of power, and was a head turner for sure. We were a GM family, but the Dodge slipped in somehow.

Hi Eric,

Good call...

The only way a member can vote for more than one of his favorite year Impala's is by visiting each forum and making their selection.

So the results may appear differently in each forum - as you discovered. Factor in that the new models are not quite as popular - so it will lead to an interesting end.

If I put the poll in one forum with markers in the other forums - I was afraid that the members would not cross over the fence into the poll forum.

Can't make everyone happy all of the time....

Being new and partially biased, I cast my vote for the 1964...

Very hard to pick just 1.

I picked the 64 but, and a big but, my 67 Impala SS is a very close 2nd, probably by 1 tenth of one percent.

If I was forced to sell one of them I don't think I could choose.

Too easy, for me it's 62 all the way. I note that it's dead even between 62 and 64 at the moment.

Survey is CLOSED.

Results are interesting - considering this post was found in the 1958-1976 forums.

The winner is 1958

Second place is 1962

Third place is 1964

Tied for fourth is 1959/1963/1965

Fifth place is 1961

Sixth place is 1967

What really is sad is that 1971 only received one vote - and that in my opinion is one fine car - the most Cadillac in appearance (Caprice) and with the 454 - the ultimate turnpike cruiser.

The years which received no votes?

1970, 1972-1977

Okay Jens, we can breath easier.... the Swiffer Girls kept me honest and I did not take any payola to fudge the results.

Interesting results. Really surprised that 64 placed ahead of the 59,61,63, and 65. The 58 taking 1st does not surprise me at all.
